Andrews won the last time they faced Highlands and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Highlanders 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Andrews was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-16, 24-26, 22-25, 25-21, 15-11.

Andrews' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chanteah Rattler, who had 23 digs, 16 kills, and seven aces. Rattler is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kaiya Ellis, who had 13 digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Andrews was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive matchups.

Andrews' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Highlands, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Andrews didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Rosman on the 26th. Highlands has also already played their next contest (against Murphy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
