Soccer Recap: Tuscaloosa County Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Tuscaloosa County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against the Prattville Lions, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Tuscaloosa County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Prattville are ranked third).

Tuscaloosa County has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7-2 record this season. As for Prattville, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuscaloosa County will welcome Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prattville, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Pike Road at 7:15 p.m.
