Volleyball Recap: Teutopolis Comes Up Short

Teutopolis was the 2-1 winner over Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Wooden Shoes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg on Friday. The Wooden Shoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Teutopolis was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 15 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15.

Teutopolis' loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Teutopolis will take on Vandalia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Anthony at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
