Soccer Game Preview: Madison West vs. Janesville Craig

The Madison West Regents will square off against the Janesville Craig Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison West's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Madison West is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: Waunakee, who was ranked 20th at the time (Madison West was ranked first). The Regents and the Warriors finished up their game with a 1-1 draw on Saturday. The result kept Madison West happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Janesville Craig duked it out with Sun Prairie East on Thursday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. Janesville Craig have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison West's draw gives them a new season record of 5-0-1. As for Janesville Craig, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
