After losing to Marengo the last time they met, Johnson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-34 win over the Panthers on Friday.

The victory got Johnson back to even at 2-2. As for Marengo, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johnson will host Choctaw County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marengo, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Breakthrough Charter at 5:30 p.m. on December 12.
