Basketball Recap: Rossville Takes a Loss

Rossville lost against St. Marys on February 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rossville Bulldogs took a 61-44 bruising from the St. Marys Bears.

It was another big night for Hayden Heim, who dropped a double-double with 49 points and 15 rebounds for St. Marys. Heim's evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Isabel Hurla, who posted 11 points.

Rossville's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-11. As for St. Marys, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Rossville will head out to face off against Mission Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Marys does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
