Mater Academy Charter can attribute much of their success to Yakeisha Shillingford, who scored 23 points along with five steals. Emily Avila was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five assists and three steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Divine Savior Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Mater Academy Charter, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-8.

The timing is sure in Ransom Everglades' favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Divine Savior Academy has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for Mater Academy Charter, they will square off against iMater Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. IMater Charter is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
