Basketball Recap: Mt. Edgecumbe Takes a Loss

Mt. Edgecumbe lost against Grace Christian back in March of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mt. Edgecumbe Braves took a blow against the Grace Christian Grizzlies, falling 70-38.

Mt. Edgecumbe's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-2. As for Grace Christian, the win was the 13th in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Mt. Edgecumbe will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Valdez on January 17, 2025. Grace Christian will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against West Valley at 3:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
