La Salle Academy faced East Providence in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Rams put the hurt on the Townies with a sharp 5-1 victory. La Salle Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by four goals or more this season.

The win (which was La Salle Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 9-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for East Providence, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1-3.
