Volleyball Recap: Fossil Ridge Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Poudre, Fossil Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Greeley Central Wildcats by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Fossil Ridge got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 22-25, 25-12, 25-13.

Trevor Baldwin paced Fossil Ridge's offense, picking up 13 kills. Baldwin got some help from Joshua Lamsma and his 19 assists.

Fossil Ridge's record is now 7-4. As for Greeley Central, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fossil Ridge is set to face off against their familiar foe Riverdale Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Greeley Central will take on rival Poudre at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
