Football Recap: Valley Lutheran Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Valley Lutheran's offense. They took a blow against the Mohave Accelerated Patriots on Friday, falling 50-0.

A big part of Mohave Accelerated's victory came down to the chemistry between Rylan Krahenbuhl and his top target Owen Honegger. Krahenbuhl threw for 146 yards and two TDs while Honegger picked up 120 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Honegger's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards.

Valley Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mohave Accelerated, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Valley Lutheran will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bagdad at 7:00 p.m. The Sultans will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. As for Mohave Accelerated, they will head out to take on Red Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be up against the Scorpions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
