Softball Recap: North Charleston Falls to Battery Creek in First Game of Season

North Charleston had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Battery Creek Dolphins, falling 17-2. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Dolphins recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

The win was the third in a row for Battery Creek, bringing their record up to 3-2.

While North Charleston had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
