Softball Recap: Friday's Win Is Elmwood's Tenth in Last 13 Outings

Elmwood was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They skirted past the Swanton Bulldogs 4-3.

Elmwood has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Swanton, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

Elmwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Swanton, they will take on Eastwood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
