Volleyball Recap: Griswold Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

Griswold entered their tilt with Montville on Monday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wolves. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win on October 3rd.

Griswold found their leader in freshman Olivia Falco, who had six aces and three digs.

Griswold was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 20 consecutive contests.

Griswold's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Montville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Griswold will face off against Bacon Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Montville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
