It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Carlmont had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 58-49 win over the El Capitan Gauchos. The victory was nothing new for the Scots as they're now sitting on six straight.

Carlmont pushed their record up to 18-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for El Capitan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-12.

Looking ahead, Carlmont will take on University at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. University knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Carlmont likes a good challenge. El Capitan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
