The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Patrick Turner and Peyton Mrsny. Turner had a great game and rushed for 194 yards and two TDs while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Mrsny was balling out in the loss, rushing for 128 yards and one touchdown.

One reason for the win was Renton's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Oseia Mitchell and Cameron Calhoun, who each picked up two sacks apiece.
