Espanola Valley beats Pojoaque Valley for their sixth straight win

The Espanola Valley Sundevils entered their tilt with the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Espanola Valley beat Pojoaque Valley on Friday by the very same score they won with last week: 50-0. The result was nothing new for Espanola Valley, who have now won five matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.
Espanola Valley had a senior duo take command as Adrick Deleon rushed for 52 yards and three touchdowns and Jack Purdy rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
Espanola Valley's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Pojoaque Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Espanola Valley's homestand continues as they prepare to take on St. Pius X at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Hopefully St. Pius X focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up four on Friday. Pojoaque Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
