Volleyball Recap: Midland Victorious + How To Watch

Midland hadn't done well against Marquette recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Timberwolves walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Crusaders. The Timberwolves were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Crusaders, so the Timberwolves were just returning the favor.

Midland easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20.

Anna McGlasson paced Midland's offense, picking up nine kills. McGlasson got some help from Ella Foster and her 14 assists.

Midland's record now sits at 21-7. As for Marquette, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Coincidentally, Midland and Marquette will both be playing Dwight the next time they take the court. The Timberwolves will host the Trojans at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Crusaders will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
