Baseball Game Preview: Pottsville Crimson Tide vs. Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack

The Pottsville Crimson Tide will face off against the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Wilkes-Barre took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Pottsville, who comes in off a win.

Pottsville is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past Daniel Boone 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crimson Tide have posted since April 8, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Aidan Bierman, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Clews, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Wilkes-Barre fell victim to Abington Heights and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 6-0 to the Comets. The loss continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their meetings with the Comets: they've now lost three in a row.
