Volleyball Recap: Bellingham Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hopkinton on Wednesday, Bellingham came back down to earth. The Blackhawks came up short against the Nipmuc Regional Warriors on Friday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

While Bellingham was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 25-19.

Despite the defeat, Bellingham saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lucas Lahousse had nine digs.

Bellingham's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Nipmuc Regional, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.

Bellingham has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Norwood on the 5th. As for Nipmuc Regional, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Norton on the 5th.
