Meanwhile, Oakland faced Bandon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Oakers were dealt a 56-18 defeat at the hands of the Tigers. The Oakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lowell's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.4 points on average over those games. As for Oakland, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
