West Covina extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 6-2. They walked away with a 28-20 victory over the Baldwin Park Braves. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 21-13 win the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

West Covina didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Isaiah Rodrigues.

As for Baldwin Park, they dropped their record down to 4-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 499th, while West Covina is ranked 239th).

Although Baldwin Park took the loss, they still got scores from Donovan St Cyr, Choyce Hampton, and Jacory Coleman.

Looking ahead, West Covina will challenge Diamond Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Baldwin Park, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against San Dimas at 7:00 p.m.
