Basketball Recap: Vanguard Academy Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Vanguard Academy extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Megan Young. The Vanguard Academy Knights really took it to the Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams Marauders for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-15 victory thanks in part to Young, who went 8 of 14 on her way to 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last seven games she's played.

Vanguard Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vanguard Academy will challenge Freedom Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams, they will square off against Intermountain Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Intermountain Christian will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams surely won't give up without a fight.
