Soccer Recap: Rock Bridge Takes a Loss

Rock Bridge fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Battle on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 1-0. That makes it the first time this season Rock Bridge have let down their home crowd.

Rock Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 11-2-1. As for Battle, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Rock Bridge and Battle will both be playing Smith-Cotton the next time they take the pitch. The Bruins will head out to face the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
