A feisty cat fight is on tap when the South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars face off against the Winston Salem Christian Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday... South Guilford HomeSchool is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

South Guilford HomeSchool is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Greater Cabarrus S: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that South Guilford HomeSchool blew Greater Cabarrus S out of the water with a 67-13 final score. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Guilford HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kassidy Bullins, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Bullins has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kourtney Bullins, who posted 15 points along with four steals and four blocks.

South Guilford HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 33 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Winston Salem Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 44-39 to Cresset Christian Academy.

South Guilford HomeSchool's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38 points. As for Winston Salem Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.
