Richland County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 50-27 margin over the Robinson Maroons. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

A big part of Richland County's win came down to the chemistry between Gavyn Cothern and his top target Dirks Weiler. Cothern rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries while Weiler rushed for 181 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Weiler didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended a pass. Carson Fox was in the mix too, providing Richland County with a touchdown.

Richland County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 421 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 190 rushing yards in nine consecutive matchups.

Richland County's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Robinson, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
