Baseball Recap: Bronx High School of Science Wolverines vs. Manhattan Center for Science & Math Rams

Bronx High School of Science entered their tilt with Manhattan Center for Science & Math with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Manhattan Center for Science & Math Rams on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for Bronx High School of Science, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bronx High School of Science got a great performance from Ezra Schwartz as he didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 13 over 5.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, Jonathan Stern and Alexander Ehrlich did most of the damage at the plate: Stern went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and an RBI, while Ehrlich scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Shoji Watanabe, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Bronx High School of Science pushed their record up to 6-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
