Basketball Game Preview: Flowery Branch Falcons vs. North Oconee Titans + Official Tickets

Flowery Branch is 1-6 against North Oconee since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Titans at 7:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

North Oconee will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Flowery Branch extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. The Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-52 victory over Walnut Grove. The 55-point effort marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, North Oconee posted their closest win since January 4th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Cedar Shoals 57-54. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won eight in a row.

Flowery Branch's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for North Oconee, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Flowery Branch was taken down by North Oconee 74-40 in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
