La Feria had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They came out on top against the Jubilee Brownsville Titans by a score of 56-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-41 back in January.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Deron Holland, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Nick Zarate, who posted 17 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.

La Feria is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for Jubilee Brownsville, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.

La Feria wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-32 victory against Valley View on the 3rd. Jubilee Brownsville has also already played their next matchup, a 71-53 defeat against Port Isabel on the 3rd.
