Volleyball Recap: Groveport-Madison Comes Up Short at Home Against Westerville South

Groveport-Madison unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Westerville South Wildcats on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 21 in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-12, 25-8.

Westerville South was led to victory by Sasha ` Brownlee and Yui Seki. Brownlee had nine digs and two aces, while Seki had four digs and one assist.

Looking ahead, Groveport-Madison will face off against Central Crossing at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westerville South has already played their next game (against Thomas Worthington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
