Volleyball Recap: Commerce Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Commerce challenged Hebron Christian on Monday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8.

Claire Hollars paced Commerce's offense, picking up five kills. Hollars got some help from Azalee Ring and her six assists.

Commerce has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-19 record this season. As for Hebron Christian, the win was the 25th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 32-2.

Commerce wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Franklin County on the 15th. As for Hebron Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Dacula at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
