Baseball Recap: Placer Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Placer waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the River Valley Falcons 11-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-2 victory on Wednesday.

The team relied heavily on Devin Knight, who went 2-for-3 with four runs, one triple, and one double. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Rogers, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Placer was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as River Valley only posted a batting average of .231.

Placer's record now sits at 16-12. As for River Valley, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-25.
