West County entered their tilt with Kingston on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Cougars. Considering the Bulldogs have won 13 matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

West County pushed their record up to 21-2-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Kingston, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

West County has already played their next game, a 7-5 victory against Central on the 30th. As for Kingston, they will head out on the road to square off against Cuba at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
