Soccer Recap: Central Takes a Loss

If Central was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Jordan last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Central Red Devils came up short against the Dothan Wolves on Wednesday, falling 6-1. The Red Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dothan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Coming up, Central will head out on the road to challenge Smiths Station at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Smiths Station is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season. As for Dothan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bainbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
