It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Worth County had no problem doing just that on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Bleckley County Royals 38-35. The victory was just business as usual for the Rams, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.

Worth County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Chester, who rushed for 140 yards and one score while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Jayden Farley did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 95 receiving yards.

Worth County didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Bleckley County to a completion percentage of just 48%. The team can thank Tray Matthews for the heroic effort on defense: he. Worth County hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.53 or higher in four consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Bleckley County still got an impressive performance from Zyion Love, who rushed for 175 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Brody Fleming, who threw for 165 yards and two TDs.

Worth County's record is now 12-0. As for Bleckley County, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Coming up, Worth County will look to defend their home field on Friday against Gordon Lee at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Rams 12.6, the Trojans 12.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Bleckley County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
