Soccer Recap: Saegertown Takes a Loss

Saegertown fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Iroquois on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Braves by a score of 2-1. Saegertown have struggled against Iroquois recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Saegertown's loss dropped their record down to 2-13-1. As for Iroquois, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Looking ahead, Saegertown will face off against Commodore Perry at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Saegertown will be up against Commodore Perry's rather soft defense (which has allowed six goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Iroquois does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
