Hillman won the last time they faced Au Gres-Sims and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers blew past the Wolverines 13-5. Considering the Tigers have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Evan Crane was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Jack Sobey was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Hillman pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Au Gres-Sims, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillman will venture away from home to take on Johannesburg-Lewiston at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Au Gres-Sims, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Evart at 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
