            Football Recap: Lincoln Southeast Knights vs. Lincoln East Spartans        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Benson  last Thursday, Lincoln Southeast came back down to earth. The Knights fell  27-14 to the Lincoln East Spartans on Friday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
 Although Lincoln Southeast took the loss, they still got scores from  Brecken Bokowski and  Caden Ward.
 Lincoln East was led to victory by  Huxton Katt and  Turner Wilkie.  Katt rushed for 72 yards and two  touchdowns, while  Wilkie rushed for 28 yards and one  score. What's more,  Wilkie racked up 101.7  passer rating, the most he's  had since back in September.

The  loss snapped Lincoln Southeast's winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 5-4 record. As for Lincoln East,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-3.
 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Lincoln Southeast will challenge Creighton Prep on Friday. As for Lincoln East, they will take on Omaha Central at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
