Manchester has gone 8-2 against East Hartford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Red Hawks will square off against the Hornets at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Manchester and seven for East Hartford.

Manchester might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-4 to RHAM, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, East Hartford came up short against Enfield on Wednesday, falling 18-1.

East Hartford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Brito, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

East Hartford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Manchester, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Manchester came out on top in a nail-biter against East Hartford when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 8-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
