             San Jacinto Christian Academy lost against Christ the King Cathedral back in October of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots fell  44-37 to the Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions. The Patriots have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Despite the loss, San Jacinto Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from   Marshall Mincher, who rushed for 156 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. Mincher also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making a tackle.
 Even though they lost, San Jacinto Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 292  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 225  rushing yards in three consecutive  contests.
 San Jacinto Christian Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Sy Potter and  Jonathan Cruz.  Benton Meyers was another major factor on D,  making 13 total tackles.
 San Jacinto Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Christ the King Cathedral, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
 San Jacinto Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  match,  a  50-0  loss against Kingdom Prep Academy on the 1st. As for Christ the King Cathedral, they also  didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  72-40  defeat against Holy Cross on the 1st.
