Centaurus kept a clean sheet against Niwot on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cougars, sneaking past 1-0. The game was the first time Centaurus have beaten Niwot on their pitch since November 8, 2017.

Centaurus' one-goal win came courtesy of Jesus Bonilla, who's now up to two this season.

Centaurus' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Niwot, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-2.

Centaurus wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Frederick on the 9th. As for Niwot, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Silver Creek on the 8th.
