Soccer Recap: Worthington Comes Up Short

Worthington lost against Marshall back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans came up short against the Tigers, falling 6-0. That's two games in a row now that Worthington have lost by exactly six goals.

Worthington's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Marshall, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Worthington is taking a road trip to square off against Austin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marshall, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Fairmont on the 4th.
