Baseball Recap: Cortland Victorious

Cortland posted their closest win since May 2, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the South Jefferson Spartans 6-4.

Garrick Ott was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. Cal Albright was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Cortland now has a winning record of 1-0-1.

Cortland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-2 win against Oswego on the 4th. As for South Jefferson, they have also already played their next game, a 9-0 loss against Westhill on the 4th.
