Softball Recap: Sergeant Bluff-Luton Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Lyon, Sergeant Bluff-Luton was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley NIGHTHAWKS with a sharp 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Sergeant Bluff-Luton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.3 runs. As for Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will head out to take on Sioux City West at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, they will square off against Unity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
