Baseball Recap: Panther Creek Extends Winning Streak to Three

Panther Creek had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Lake Dallas Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 last Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Hunter Handley, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Cayd Miller was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.

Panther Creek's win bumped their record up to 14-6-4. As for Lake Dallas, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-11.

Panther Creek will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
