Volleyball Game Preview: Douglass Academy Lions vs. Randolph Campus Cougars

The Douglass Academy Lions will head out to challenge the Randolph Campus Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Douglass Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Percy Sutton.

Meanwhile, Randolph Campus posted their closest win since April 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over City College Academy of the Arts. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Randolph Campus now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Douglass Academy, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Douglass Academy came up short against Randolph Campus when the teams last played back in March, falling 2-0. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
