Softball Recap: Messalonskee Takes a Loss

Messalonskee is still winless after their match against Hampden on Monday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Broncos. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Broncos from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

Messalonskee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hampden, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Messalonskee will take on Lewiston at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hampden, they will face off against Mount Desert Island at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
