Basketball Recap: Coram Deo Academy Picks Up 12th Straight Win at Home

Coram Deo Academy extended their home winning streak to 12 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Selah Johnson. The Coram Deo Academy Lions walked away with a 49-40 victory over the Southwest Christian School Eagles on Tuesday thanks in part to Johnson, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 19 points and six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Coram Deo Academy's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Juergens, who posted two points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (three).

Coram Deo Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season. As for Southwest Christian School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coram Deo Academy will host All S at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Coram Deo Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season. As for Southwest Christian School, they will square off against Fort Worth Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Southwest Christian School is facing Fort Worth Christian at the right time seeing as Fort Worth Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
