Football Recap: Gustine Reds vs. Riverbank Bruins
Gustine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a hard 38-24 fall against the Riverbank Bruins. The Reds lost against the Bruins in their previous head to head on October 1st, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 46-0 score last time.
Among those leading the charge was Brianna Guel, who picked up 80 receiving yards and a touchdown. She was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 55 yards.
Gustine's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Riverbank, their record now sits at 6-12.
