Softball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall was the 10-9 winner over Sloan-Hendrix when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats fell 8-3 to the Greyhounds on Thursday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Sloan-Hendrix, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-8 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Marshall will square off against rival Cedar Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Sloan-Hendrix is set to take on their familiar foe Izard County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
